What this website collects, and why.

Written plainly, and limited to what the site actually does. Last reviewed 19 October 2026.

Who we are

TowMomentum is an independent marketing and implementation company for towing businesses, operated by its founder, Chris, in the United States. This site is towmomentum.com. We are not a towing operator and do not dispatch vehicles.

What we collect

If you email us

Email links open your own email app. We receive your email address and the information you choose to send, and use them to respond to your inquiry. Our business inbox is hosted by Google Workspace.

If you book a strategy call

The booking form asks for your name, business email, company name, main service area, and the main thing you want to look at, plus optional answers about your operation (company type, role, truck count, capacity, ad spend), an optional phone number, an optional website, and an optional one-line goal. We use these to prepare the call and to send the meeting details. They are delivered to the tools listed below.

If you request an emailed resource

We collect your email address and the resource you asked for, so we can send it. Requesting a file does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

If you request a callback

We collect your name, company, service area, email, phone number and question. These details are emailed to Chris to review and respond. A callback request does not confirm an appointment or guarantee an immediate response.

Calculator inputs

Numbers you enter into the calculators stay in your browser. They are not sent to us unless you choose to include them in a message or booking.

Usage and attribution

We record which pages, tools, and resources are used, and campaign parameters from the link you arrived on (for example a video or ad identifier), in your browser's local storage. This is sent to us only when you submit the booking form, so we can understand which content led to a conversation. It contains no name, email, or phone number. Analytics tools, when enabled, receive event names and categories, never form contents.

Providers that process data

  • Hosting: Vercel serves the site and runs the form handlers.
  • Scheduling: Cal.com shows availability, stores the appointment and connects it to our Google Calendar. Its own privacy policy applies to the booking it holds.
  • Email: Google Workspace hosts our business correspondence. Resend sends requested resources, meeting-related emails and internal lead and callback notifications.
  • Lead handling: booking submissions and callback requests are delivered to our business inbox. No separate customer-relationship system is connected.
  • Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics and Meta's pixel are not enabled on this site.
  • Abuse protection: submissions are rate-limited by IP address for a short window; Cloudflare Turnstile may be used to filter automated traffic.

Cookies and storage

After you submit the booking form, an encrypted, HTTP-only cookie holds your first name, service area, chosen topics, and, after booking, the appointment time, so the preparation page can address you. It expires after 14 days and contains no email, phone number, or financial answers. Local storage holds attribution, your booking-form draft for the length of the tab, calculator inputs, and preparation-checklist ticks.

Text messages

Automated text reminders are not enabled. If you provide a callback number, Chris may use it to respond to your request or arrange your meeting.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop any emails, at any time. Email chris@towmomentum.com. Reschedule and cancellation links for a booked call are in the scheduler's confirmation email.
