Check the profile evidence
Record the reporting period, metric name exactly as displayed, filters and any known information changes. Read the platform’s current definition before combining fields. Keep calls, website interactions, views and other available metrics separate. Availability can vary, so do not build a report around a field merely because it appeared in an older screenshot.
A worked example
Fictional report: a profile view shows twenty call interactions and twelve website interactions. The office identifies fourteen distinct requests that mention finding the business on Google. The numbers need not match because the events, windows and self-reported source differ. Adding thirty-two interactions and calling them thirty-two towing leads would create an unsupported claim.
Choose the next action
Use changes in the observed metrics to choose a question: did contact information change, are hours inaccurate, or is the website path confusing? Compare consistent periods and preserve the definitions. Connect a request to a job only with explicit evidence; self-reported source can complement platform data without proving a precise attribution chain.
Check whether it worked
At the next review, show interaction trends beside unique inquiries, known completions and unresolved source values. Explain changed definitions or missing data. Do not interpret a rise in profile activity as proof of profit. If interaction levels look stable but the business reports fewer calls, inspect the number and answering arrangements before attributing the difference to ranking.
