Check the profile evidence
Establish whether customers can actually visit a staffed business location during stated hours, whether work occurs at customer locations, and which information the authorized operator can support. Google’s representation rules distinguish service-area and hybrid businesses and set requirements for displaying addresses. Use those rules for the profile; use operational evidence for the territory you claim.
A worked example
Fictional worksheet: a company dispatches from a private base and does not receive customers there. It serves three nearby communities when capacity permits. Its public website explains those communities and asks callers to confirm the pickup and destination. Creating a “branch” at a mailbox in each community would add unsupported locations rather than useful coverage information.
Choose the next action
Review the actual address-display and service-area setup in the authorized profile. Keep the real legal or business records private and use the official process when verification is required. Make website coverage wording specific enough to help a caller understand boundary cases. A marketing radius does not establish travel feasibility, availability or a guaranteed response time.
Check whether it worked
Check the public profile and website after changes, including on mobile. Compare recent unsuitable requests with the stated area. If the profile is accurate but ads attract pickups outside coverage, investigate campaign location options separately. Keep a dated note of the operator’s approved territory so future editors do not expand it casually.
